Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: SPT Specialty: Central Sterile Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: n/a Certifications: n/a Must-Have: SPD experience Availability for weekday and weekend call Description: Travel opportunity for a Sterile Processing Technician. Facility needs candidates for an immediate start date. Cannot accommodate 12-hour shifts. Candidates must be available to work weekends. Unit information includes: 10 operating rooms. Staff consists of 10 full-time employees and 2 PRN employees. Typical shift distribution: 7 staff on day shift. 3 staff on evening shift. 1 staff on call from 11 PM to 7 AM. Equipment utilized includes Vpro, Ultrasonic systems, and Steris. The unit performs procedures in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Cardiovascular, Gynecology, and Robotics. The ideal candidate will exhibit teamwork, accountability, positivity, willingness, and flexibility. Rotating on-call required for both weekdays and weekends. One position available.
